Committee Potential Candidates
As usual, there are FOUR executive positions up for grabs and unlimited (within reason) member slots, Below are folks expressing a wish to stand. if you want to stand please provide the names of 2 qualifying people who would vote for you (you and them must live in the village as their primary residence), the position sought, and a short paragraph explaining why you want to join so the village can learn a little bit about you and hopefully vote you in.
Ideally, you’ll need to attend at least half of the monthly meetings per year in person (on the first Wednesday of each month at 7 pm) but we will seek to accommodate those that find this difficult due to working patterns or personal/household issues. We can support remote access to meetings and have a private area online for discussions and planning so the work can be done when it suits you. Some positions have the requirement for certain skills (i.e. basic accounting for the Treasurer).
Finally, we support diversity and all that means. Nominations can be emailed to FHVRAMail@gmail.com or delivered by hand to the current secretary, Jennie Rolls at 41, Ovenden Wood Road.
